Who loves plants and flowers? We do! Halfinger Farms is a family greenhouse farm. We have become known for the incredible selection of plants we grow and sell; we grow our plants with attention to detail and a great deal of love. It is not uncommon to hear remarks about how healthy the plants look, and how clean and organized our greenhouses are. The greenhouses are beautiful, and strolling through them is the perfect retreat. Our customers love visiting the greenhouses. Our farm features a special watering system that allows us to recapture our irrigation water and re-use it. Once you discover Halfinger Farms, you'll feel like you've discovered a hidden gem too! Here's a snapshot of our season: APRIL: We grow beautiful spring plants including pansies, violas, lettuce gardens, spring greens, perennials and so much more. Our pick your own daffodil farm, Dancing Daffodils, is also open in April. Greenhouse exploring and daffodil picking make for the perfect spring adventure! MAY AND EARLY JUNE: This is the height of the planting season, and we grow transplants of all types including vegetable plants, herbs, flowering annuals, perennials, hanging baskets and patio containers, herb combos and so much more. We grow fantastic, healthy plants! LATE JUNE, JULY AND AUGUST: The farm is closed for retail sales. SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER: Who loves mums? We do! Planting mums in the fall is a New England tradition. Halfinger Farms becomes The Mum Farm on September first; we grow thousands of gorgeous Belgian mums representing all of the color categories. We grow and harvest our own pumpkins, cornstalks, gourds, decorative corn and other fall field crops. Fall is a beautiful time at the farm!
